About the Podcasters
Paul Thurrott is an award-winning technology journalist and blogger with over 20 years of industry experience and the author of over 25 books. Paul writes for Thurrott.com and devotes much of his coverage to the consumer-side of Microsoft's offerings.
Accompanying the two respected journalists is Leo Laporte, an Emmy Award-winning technology broadcaster, journalist, author, and founder of TWiT. Leo founded the TWiT.tv podcast network in 2005 with the launch of This Week in Tech, and the podcast's popularity led to a slew of weekly tech podcasts. Windows Weekly premiered on September 28th, 2006, with Leo and Paul as hosts. Mary Jo Foley first appeared on the podcast as a guest in Episode 57 in May 2008. She became a frequent guest, and soon, Leo and Paul's co-host from 2011 until 2022.
