The Koenigsegg Regera, FPV250 Mods, Arduino Clock, viewer feedback, and more! The Koenigsegg Regera Koenigsegg is Swedish Automaker that is known for making some absolutely RIDICULOUS supercards. - It was founded in 1994 - Delivered it's first street-legal production car in 2002 - In 2006 it created the CCX which VAULTED Koenigsegg into stardom ** 795hp - custom engine ** Carbon Fiber reinforced with Kevlar and aluminum ** Carbon Fiber Wheels In 2011 they created the Agera * Bumped up the power to a Twin-Turbocharged, in-house, 940hp engine * RIDICUOUSLY light (Just over 3,000 lbs) * 0-100 in 2.8 * 0-200 in 8.9 * 0-300 in 14.53 Last week, they rolled out the Regera * It's a 1,500 hp supercar that also happens to be a hybrid! * Only 3,589 lbs * a 5-liter V8 - Custom in-house, twin-turbocharged engine makes 1,100 HP and 944 foot-pounds of torque * They added three electric motors (one on each rear wheel, and one on the drive shaft) -- Those electric motors add 400 hp and heap on a LOAD of torgue at 0 RPM ** The wheel motors have 192 ft-lbs of torque ** The Shaft motor has 221 lb-ft of torque -- They also included a 9kwH LiIon Battery -- It can drive for 22 miles under pure electric power. * In other words... this car STARTS with 605 foor-pounds of torque at ZERO RPM --- then it ramps up to just over 944-ft-lbs of torque as the engine gets closer to its power band. ** Also, the motors in the wheels can be used for torque vectoring. Like steering a ROCKET! ** They're only going to build 80 of them... so they're going to be EXPENSIVE!
