A Kernel Release, A Wine Release, and More
The weekend is a flurry of releases, with Kernel 6.1 releasing, and 6.2 opening its merge window. Blender, Wine, and ClamAV are also making notable releases. Asahi has pushed out a new version with initial support for GPU accelleration on M1 and M2 devices. CachyOS makes a name for itself in a round of benchmarks, and Armbian departs from its name, adding RISC-V support. For tips, there's an mdadm gotcha to watch out for, the great qdirstat for finding forgotten files, and a revisit to parallel to show off another trick. See the show notes at bit.ly/3hdNQ8v and enjoy the show!
New episodes are recorded live every Saturday in the Club TWiT Discord.
