This week Fedora talks up a Mobile spin, AMD is on fire, fixing bugs and releasing new server chips. Texinfo adds EPUB, Nvidia slowly works on their open source drivers, and Rust is slowly making progress in becoming usable in the Kernel. For tips, there's the kernel module controls, like lsmod, rmmod, modprobe, and the module blacklist. Then to control your boot process, there's efibootmgr. And finally, to avoid looking up a sed or awk tutorial every time you need it, dirname gives you an easy tool to return the full directory path of a given file.
