Google News to Close in Spain Over New Law: Tech News Today 1153
Google plans to close Google News in Spain over Google Tax law.

Google said in a blog post last night that it plans to close Google News in Spain after lawmakers there passed rules that requires Spanish newspapers to charge Google when Google shows content from their sites. The law, which is being called the Google Tax, goes into effect in January.
