Clearview’s arbitrary photo facial surveillance and image recognition capability represents another aspect of the Internet we have unleashed. When you combine an Internet-connected camera in every pocket with realtime fixed-camera surveillance, massive cloud storage and computing resources, you get consequences that were unintended.
