GoPro has a disastrous quarter
Megan Morrone and Jason Howell discuss GoPro's poor performance in its third quarterly earnings call, and how important the holiday season is for the company. Huawei unveiled the Mate 9, a premium smartphone with a 5.9” full HD display, and Huawei’s own Kirin 960 processor, as well as the Huawei Fit fitness wearable. Dell showed off a "Surface Studio" like smart desk that it has been working on for two years, designed for artists, engineers, architects, and scientific analysts. Netflix says that offline mode is coming to its mobile app at some point. Roborace and Charge unveiled a new all-electric truck that will be released in 2017, and is incredibly easy to assemble from scratch. Google Home is shipping to those who pre-ordered, and Selena Larson from CNN gives her review. Intel is working hard on Project Alloy to make sure that it’s involved in virtual reality from the start. Finally, Hue lightbulbs can be hacked by a drone flying a quarter of a mile away.
