Practical Design Considerations

1. ESCs

We've got 8 x RTFQ 2208 2300KV motors that max out at 295 watts

- We're going to use a 4s (14.8 volt) battery.

- Watts = Volts * Amps - So we'll be using (295/14.8) amps = 19.9 amps

So we need 20 Amps ESCs (with sustainable bursting to 30 amp, for good measure)

2. Batteries

Again: 8 x RTFQ 2208 2300KV motors that max out at 295 watts

- That means we can pull a maximum of 2,360 watts from the power system.

- A single 2200 4s 60c battery can provide 1953.6 watts. (60c x 2.2 amps = 132 amps // 132 amps * 14.8v = 1953.6)

This means that we can't provide enough power with that single battery to max out our motors.

We COULD go with a larger capacity battery, or a higher discharge rated battery

But I decided to double up on the 4s 2200 60C packs ** That gives us 3,907.2 Watts
