HUBzero
"Collaboratories" supporting “team science.”
HUBzero is an open source software platform for building powerful Web sites that support scientific discovery, learning, and collaboration. These sites are called “hubs” because each becomes a focal point for its user community.
Michael Zentner is the Directory of HUBzero, which is one of the many projects he runs. Andy Burnett is the CEO of a scientific creativity consulting firm called Knowinnovation (KI). KI has been a user of Hubzero for about 5 years. More recently, the company has started to actively contribute to the project, and is helping the organisation to become a more widely known open source project.
