On day 1 of their F8 Developer Conference, Mark Zuckerberg showed off camera-based AR that looked a lot like Snapchat's face filters and new World Lenses. Many accuse the company of only being able to copy true innovators. But on Day 2, Regina Dugan, head of Facebook's Building 8 skunkworks described their research into direct brain interfaces that could let you type with your mind and hear with your skin. That seems pretty innovative.
