Megan Morrone and Jason Howell talk about the research done with the iOS and Android mobile game called Sea Hero Quest. The game tests spatial navigation skills and might help prevent or diagnose dementia. The 2.4 million research subjects who downloaded the game have racked up the equivalent of 9,400 years of gameplay that scientists are now using to study Alzheimer’s. Scientists & game designers from Glitchers created the game and you can download it right now to help create the world's largest crowd-sourced data set benchmarking human spatial navigation.
