The Times and ProPublica expose AT&T's relationship with the NSA
The New York Times published a scathing takedown of Amazon's workplace practices and culture over the weekend. The piece described amazon as a place where "workers are encouraged to tear apart one another’s ideas in meetings," are forced to work long hours and be available to answer emails late into the night, and where people often cry at their desks. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos Sunday responded in a letter to employees and said he didn't recognize the workplace portrayed in the article and that Amazon would not tolerate the “shockingly callous management practices” described in the piece.
