Descript uses speech-to-text recognition.
This feed has been discontinued, but you can find the clips in our archives.
Descript offers audio editing tools for podcasters that change how audio editing is done. Instead of waveforms and select/cut/paste tools, Descript manages audio editing by way of speech-to-text recognition that actually prints the words on-screen inside the editor, making it possible to edit audio in the same way that you edit an email.
