FEMA to test Presidential Alert System.

FEMA and the FCC will be testing IPAWS, or "Integrated Public Alert and Warning System", on Thursday, September 20. The nationwide test will send a message to your smartphone with a loud tone, and will allow the president to issue alerts in the future in national emergencies.
