Tip: Hide Cortana in Windows 10

Paul Thurrott shared a tip for those who don't want to use Cortana in Windows on Windows Weekly 481. In the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, version 1607, Cortana is not disabled by default and you cannot get rid of it. You can hide it, though: Right-click the taskbar, choose 'Cortana' and then 'Hidden.'

Even if you do use Cortana, there's little reason to have it in your taskbar. It can be enabled with your voice, with Windows Key + C, and you can access search through the Start Menu as you could before.
