Leo Laporte's app cap on iOS Today 285 is Lyve Home. This is a small device that has 2TB of storage connects via Wi-Fi or ethernet to the internet. It has a screen on it that will display a slideshow of photos, but you can also access those photos through an app on your smartphone from anywhere. It will also backup photos from your phone or computer to the Lyve Home device.

Your photos will be accessible through the internet, and are stored on the Lyve drive, and not with a cloud service. This means that you can get access to the full-resolution, original photos and videos on any device anywhere.
