Hardware Pick: Giroptic

Megan Morrone's app cap on iOS Today 342 is Giroptic, which is a 360 degree camera that fits on the end of an iPhone or iPad. This has two big lenses on the front and back of it, and then it stitches what it captures into a 360 degree video. The video it creates works on Facebook, YouTube, and Periscope. You can also use it to stream live on those services. When viewing the video, you can tap and drag around to look around, or if you're using a phone you can just point the phone in various directions to see all of the angles.

Giroptic works with iOS and Android devices, and costs $249. Find out more at giroptic.com.
