Hardware Pick: Canary Flex

Stacey Higginbotham's pick of the week on This Week in Google 384 is the Canary Flex. This is an indoor and outdoor, weatherproof, HD security camera, and can be used wirelessly with a rechargeable battery or plugged in. It's also acts as home security system that's very easy to install. Canary cameras have motion detection, and the app now features an "emergency call" option that will call the 911 center closest to the Canary's location.

You can buy the Canary Flex individually for $199, or you can buy it as part of a multipack with other Canary cameras. It's important to note that currently there's a bug that prevents it from staying online on a mesh Wi-Fi network (like the Eero) when used wirelessly.
