2025 TWiT Audience Metric Analysis

Each year, we ask our listeners to voluntarily share information with us rather than invading their privacy through tracking techniques employed by many other media companies. While others monitor user behavior without consent, we choose a more respectful approach—and our audience responds in kind. This year, we received over 8,000 survey responses!

After analyzing the data, here are nine significant insights about our network:

  1. Our audience remains predominantly male at 95%, a metric that has remained consistent throughout our 20-year history.
  2. The majority (67%) of our listeners fall between 25-54 years old.
  3. Our audience is affluent, with 76% earning over $100,000 annually.
  4. Our listeners are highly educated—80% hold college degrees or advanced qualifications.
  5. Perhaps most impressively, 88% of our audience has made a purchase based on a host-read TWiT ad, significantly outperforming the Nielsen average of about 50%.
  6. We serve the tech community directly, with 78% of our audience working in technology fields.
  7. Our content resonates deeply with our listeners, as 99% report consuming most or all of our podcast episodes.
  8. The TWiT audience holds positions of influence, with 53% in management positions or higher.
  9. A substantial 70% are involved in their company's decision-making processes.
