As independent podcasters, we believe in sticking together and fighting the consolidation of podcasts into a homogenized commodity. We strongly support the range of voices, viewpoints, and diversity these independent podcasters bring. Although we are competitors for ad dollars and audience, we recommend the voices below. Please take a look and understand there is a rich and wonderful world out there of spoken media.

Written by Wired founding executive editor Kevin Kelly along with long-time tech journalist Mark Frauenfelder and writer Claudia Dawson. It's a short, simple newsletter that's always interesting and always one you will look forward to opening. They have a pretty limited classifieds-style advertising operation, but it works quite well. And they're absolutely standout people.

Cord Cutter Weekly / Advisorator
Written by Jared Newman, a tech journalist who writes at pretty much all the same traditional tech outlets I currently do or have in the past (Fast Company, PCWorld, some other IDG-owned sites). CCW pretty much owns the streaming niche, as far as newsletters go, and Advisorator is Jared's more general-interest tech advice publication. He and I have known each other for years and collaborate on stuff semi-regularly. A great writer and someone with tons of integrity who'd fit right into this little collective we're forming.
