Joshua Lifton

Joshua is a co-founder and the CEO of Crowd Supply, a full service crowdfunding platform for open hardware that recently received the endorsment of the Free Software Foundation. He holds a PhD from the MIT Media Lab and holds a BA in physics and mathematics from Swarthmore College, which is to say he's devoted a significant amount of his time learning how to make things that blink. Josh is currently building a completely free and open source stenograph, the Stenosaurus, that will be funding on Crowd Supply soon, and is a founder of the open steno project. In the past, he has instrumented thousands of audience members with custom wearable computers for a Cirque du Soleil performance, and once hosted a late night conspiracy theory radio show at MIT. Before Crowd Supply he served as the head of engineering at Puppet Labs.
