Heather "Mo" Williams

Heather "Mo" Williams is a Wi-Fi engineer on a mission to help broadband providers connect the unconnected and give the connected better speeds at better rates.

Mo currently works at Tarana Wireless as Sr. Manager Solutions Architect. In addition to creating solutions and best practice design guides, she speaks at a variety of technical conferences on current Wi-Fi topics, particularly security-related issues.

Mo serves on the CWNP Board of Advisors and is an active volunteer with ITDRC.org, a non-profit group of IT professionals that deploys within 24-hours of natural disasters across the U.S. to establish communications for first responders, affected communities, and evacuees. She formerly was the lead Wi-Fi engineer for Black Hat international conferences.

Rarely taking herself seriously, Mo is serious about BBQ and lives in The Little Log Cabin by the Lake in east Texas with her husband, a man of renowned patience, and her two silken windhounds.
