Abhi Beckert

My name is Abhi, pronounced ahh-bee. I founded Sequel Pro almost a decade ago by creating a fork of CocoaMySQL which had been abandoned. Today I work on Sequel Pro one full day each week and also weekends/evenings when possible. At my day job, I work as a PHP developer, and spend almost as much time in Sequel Pro as in my text editor, both managing and debugging our databases. At work our PHP code runs on Linux/CentOS servers, and we use various open source software and PHP libraries. I contribute back occasionally, but mostly all my open source dev work goes into Sequel Pro. I live in Cairns, a small regional city (150,000 people) on the north east coast of Australia.
