Facebook took a closer look at its ad metrics and found four more instances of miscalculation, including double-counting repeat visitors for Facebook pages and overstating time spent reading Instant Articles.

Microsoft announced that it has joined the Linux foundation as a Platinum member, a big turnaround from the time when Steve Ballmer called Linux a cancer.

Google released a new VR version of Google Earth, free for HTC Vive users. In it, virtual tourists can explore a large number of destinations across the globe, including important historical sites and cultural treasures, as well as enjoy virtual guided tours of supported areas.

Our newest robot overlord from the sky is Domino's Pizza Drone. The drone company Flirtey is now officially delivering pizza orders to residents of Whangaparaoa, which is about 20 miles north of Auckland. 

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a new rule that requires electric vehicles to produce audible noise during operation while traveling at speeds slower than 20mph. NHTSA did not specify what kind of noise should be emitted, however, leaving that decision up to manufacturers.
