Since Leo got back from his Galapagos vacation, Chris wants to talk about the images he got on his trip. Chris says that there are plenty of images that Leo took that jumps out to people including a pre-Columbian statue that looks like it's checking it's smartphone. He says people can relate to it and the lighting is incredible. Great shot. Another image that Leo took was one of a split rock with a boat in the middle. untouched, no filter. Great light from the setting sun brings out the relief and texture of the image from waves to rock, and it has an amazing sense of scale. Great shot. Lastly, the Sea Lion screaming at a Cormorant bird. It really tells a story. It has two very clear subjects, so it's clear what's going on. The light also guides your attention. Leo shot it during the golden hour of the setting sun and it provided some great contrast between the foreground and background without distracting from the subjects. Nice bokeh in the background as well. And we can all relate to that image.

You can see Leo's Vacation pictures either on Leoville.com or SmugMug.
