Microsoft Tries To Be As Cool As Slack
Skype Teams is to be Microsoft’s version of group messaging for teams.
Megan Morrone and Jason Howell talk about whether mobile phones and productivity apps make us more or less productive. TechCrunch had reported in May that Microsoft once wanted to purchase of Slack for $8 billion before bailing on that plan to work on its own solution integrated with Skype. Skype Teams is to be Microsoft’s version of group messaging for teams. But will it increase productivity and will anyone use it? And what about Yammer?
