Autopilot Is Not Autonomous
Tesla is under investigation after the Model S is involved in a fatal crash while on autopilot.
Megan Morrone and Becky Worley talk to Tim Stevens from CNET's Roadshow about the fatal crash of a Model S in Autopilot mode. The crash took place when a tractor trailer drove across a highway ahead of the car and everyone wants to know who is at fault. Tim says 130 million miles have been covered by owners using Autopilot in their Models S and X, but there is a fatality every 94 million miles in other cars.
