iOS Pick: NOISE

Rene Ritchie's pick of the week on MacBreak Weekly 526 is NOISE. This app utilizes the new taptic engine in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, making it a great way to test its capabilities. NOISE app simulates playing an instrument, and as you move your fingers across it, the tapic engine will produce a 'strumming' effect. Pressing deeper gives you even more subtle sensations that feel location specific.

NOISE has a unique playing surface that's laid out like a piano, but instead of white and black keys, it has a continuous set of "keywaves." You can strike the keywaves directly, slide your fingers across them, and press down into them for different effects. It comes with a NOISE pack with 25 diverse, custom-crafted sounds. It also supports a range of MIDI controllers over Bluetooth.
