iOS Pick: MLB.com At Bat

Leo Laporte's app cap for iOS Today 286 is the new MLB.com At Bat app. The first thing you'll want to do is pick your favorite team. Once you've added that, you can decide what notifications you'll want. You can be notified when a game starts, there are lead changes, scoring happens, the game ends, and more. In the app itself you can look at the scoreboards, watch video clips, and listen to the Gameday radio broadcasts. You can also watch live games for an additional fee.

MLB.com At Bat has been redesigned to take advantage of some of the new iOS 9 features for iPad. It now supports multitasking split view and picture-in-picture streaming for video. It also now works in both portrait and landscape orientations.

MLB.com At Bat is $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year. For live games, you'll need to subscribe to MLB.TV for $24.99 per month.
