iOS Pick: Microsoft Pix
Leo Laporte's app cap on iOS Today 306 is Microsoft Pix. This could quite possibly be a better camera app than the one built-in to iOS. It's a smarter camera app that can identify what's in the frame and adjust settings automatically. It takes multiple photos and chooses the best one, and allows you to compare the original one with the one the app chose.
There's not much to adjust in settings -- it's all about the app working automatically to get the best picture quickly. Pix has a very clean and simple interface with options to take a photo, video, and see your gallery. It also has simple editing tools, and you can apply filters to your photos.
