iOS Pick: Google Earth

Megan Morrone's app cap on iOS Today 355 is new version of Google Earth for the iPad. This has been two years in the making, and has some great new features. You can zoom into specific locations as you could before, but now you can also snap a picture from the satellite view and share it as a digital post card.

You can discover new places in the "Explore" section, where you can look at editor's picks and learn about landmarks around the world. You can get information from Knowledge Cards, and even see live cam views. You can also choose to "roll the dice" to have it take you to a random place, or just play around and explore the world.
