Hardware Pick: Blue Raspberry Microphone

Andy Ihnatko's pick of the week on MacBreak Weekly 533 is the Blue Raspberry Microphone. This is a mobile USB mic for PC, Mac, iPhone and iPad. It's a very directional condenser mic for voice and instruments, and does a great job rejecting other room noise. It delivers 24-bit/48kHz resolution audio.

The Raspberry has a headphone jack on it for no latency monitoring of the recording. It also has physical knobs on it for headphone volume and mic gain and a button for mute control. It also has a removable and collapsible stand, and is compact enough that you can bring it wherever you need it.
