Surface Book 2 unveiled: in a surprise announcement overshadowing the arrival of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, MS takes the wraps off its coming Surface Book 2. What we liked, didn't about the devices. (We had a little bit of hands-on last week.)
Plus: Other new Surface accessories.
Plus: A new Surface Precision mouse. And the classic Intellimouse is coming back.
The rollout of Fall Creators Update to mainstream users began yesterday on PC, Phone, Win Server, Xbox One. Which phones are getting Feature 2 release? Will Windows Mixed Reality resonate with users?
But Fall Creators Update is so yesterday. What's new in RS4?
What about Windows on ARM? A bit of an update: Microsoft is in 'final stages of development and testing' with partners for ARM-based Always Connected devices. First devices sound like they're still on track for December 2017. Qualcomm is holding an event in December, and Paul is going.
You can try Xbox One X yourself now at Microsoft Stores. Cuphead sold over 1 million units already.
• Tip of the week: Get the Fall Creators Update on your schedule
