Oculus Rift will set you back $1500 when it goes on sale later this year. Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe, speaking at the Code Conference yesterday, revealed the price for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset PLUS computer. The two will set you back, he says, around $1500. It doesn't sound like the Rift will be sold in a bundle, however. The company has already said you'll need to own, or buy, a decently powerful gaming rig to play in its virtual world.
