Acer Aspire Timeline Laptops
This line of affordable laptops lasts all day, comes in any size you would actually want, and offers unique specifications.
The Timeline series offers display sizes 11.6" to 15.6", 8 hour battery life, full Windows 7, an optical drive, and is only one inch thick.
It utilizes a 1.3ghz Intel low voltage chip, which is NOT a powerhouse, however, assuming you are not multitasking like a mad person, rendering the new Pixar film, or playing video games, which is most of you, one of the laptops from this line will serve you well.
One thing to note is that you will want to do a clean install of Windows, as it does unfortunately come with a great deal of bloatware.
