Rene Ritchie's pick of the week on MacBreak Weekly 408 is Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril. This is a game for iOS featuring an original story that spans across the entire Marvel Universe -- all with Legos. The premise of the game is to stop Loki and other Marvel villains from assembling a super-weapon capable of destroying the world.
There's over 91 playable characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, and more that can be unlocked in the game. There's 45 missions and you can earn rewards by completing challenges. While there are Lego games available on the consoles, this is a really great way to take the Lego gaming experience on the go. You can also choose between "Console" and "Touch Screen" style controls on the iOS app.
Since the game doesn't require an internet connection, it will require a lot of space on your device. You'll need 2.2 GB free if you install it over Wi-Fi. The game is a universal app on iPhone and iPad, and costs $4.99.
