Andy Ihnatko's pick of the week on MacBreak Weekly 399 is Droid NAS from Code Sector. This is an Android app for sharing files between Android devices and Apple products. It uses the Wi-Fi network and presents the device as a standard SMB server on the Mac. You can browse through files, and copy files both to and from the device. If you have an iOS app that can mount network file shares, you can easily transfer files between Android and iOS using Droid NAS.
The app also lets you specify what types of files will be available to the network, so if you're in a public spot, you can choose not to make sensitive data available. You can even assign different Wi-Fi networks to profiles so it will automatically adjust your share settings.
