About the TWiT.tv Site

This site was designed by Four Kitchens in Austin, Texas. It consists of several parts. The backend is currently hosted on Pantheon and consists of the Drupal content management system and a MySQL database. The CMS provides a public and private API which is used by the web site, apps, and even end users. The front end web site, also designed and programmed by Four Kitchens, is running in node.js on Heroku. Caching for the site is provided by Redis at RedisLabs. The API is documented at Apiary. API Keys are created and maintained by 3Scale. Site performance monitoring is by New Relic.

In 2023, the site was rewritten and updated to Drupal 9 by the talented team at Kanopi Studios who have been helping with site maintenance since the beginning of 2016.
